Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither, and lose both.
-- Benjamin Franklin

Finally

Well. I was beginning to feel slighted and ignored: worried that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was not recognized for our contributions to the republican moral and ethical superiority in Washington.

Not to worry, though. Our own Rick Santorum has finally been recognized as the GOP Hypocrite of the Week. My only question is what took them so long?

Santorum is a moral and ethical man.
He is a Republican in the Reagan mode and a fine supporter of our President.

Santorum is neither reaganesque, nor moral. Though I suppose, for you, just stating this makes it true.

Since posting the above link, Santorum has again shown where his principles lie, and it is not with truth, nor consistency. He has compared the Democratic members of congress to Nazis, a move he just a month ago decried when they, much more obliquely, used such a reference.
