Hello Cousin Alan !!!
I haven’t been to your blog in a Long
Time (2005) ! I’m glad to see you’re still “UP” on ye old web ! My opinion: The “Health Care” bill is a big gift to “Big Pharma”, the Medical Device Industry, and the Big 5 Health Care Insurance Companies. Any detractor tea bags, are mere “Fluff” for this so called Controversy. It’s a Smoke Screen for the same corporations to make even more money out of the public, which is prostrate with bail-outs, no jobs,no real rise in the value of the wages in 38 years (for those who do have jobs). Add on the two big Military Adventures,
(and lots of little ones)….the picture just takes my breath away !!!
Where do we go from here ? I still love the idea of a National Health Care system by what ever name, National Medi-care, Single Payer, etc. It just won’t come from the Congress and the Senate, as most of these people are owned by the Insurance Industry. For Example: The Corporations fund Max Baucus (A “democrat”) of Montana, for a measly Million USD and get back BILLIONs of DOLLARS in returns.
Very cost-effective for these companies, really BAD for US.
As a life long Democrat I give up on this party, and I am looking at a 3rd Party that can DO SOMETHING ELSE for our Nation. The word I want to use is a word that that is used in other countries that have more real Democracy than our “Republic”.
Get the candidates elected, then work out the compromises. I believe that we can get real reform, if we study how other people accomplish these goals (Medical, Jobs, etc.) elsewhere and put the best features in practice here, in the U.S.A. Educate Yourselves it’s not going to get any better, do not let it get worse ! End of my RANT start Ranting Yourselves !!!! Sean Folsom

THE WORD I WANT TO USE (and I used the wrong diacritical marks, so it was left out of the sentence)IS….
COALITION
please start using it frequently.
Lots of small third parties can become a FORCE for REASON. Sean Folsom (again)
